Rehabilitation of Falluja Iron Bridge, Anbar Governorate, Iraq
Scope of Work :
THEFAF AL RFIDAIN Co. had been awarded the contract by the UNDP.
The bridge is located in the city of Fallujah, where the city center is connected to the western areas. The bridge was exposed to terrorist operations by ISIS by a car bomb that destroyed parts of it and fell into the river.
Rehabilitation work included:
• Rehabilitation of rundown and fallen parts of the bridge and road and walkways design.
• Corrosion and corrective measures for Fallujah Bridge.
• Electrical system, traffic and other auxiliaries.
